 Traditional Karate Union

 

The Traditional Karate Union (TKU) was formed in 1988 and affiliated themselves to the Federation of English Karate Organisations (FEKO) in 1989.

Coaches have been DBS and CVA accredited.

At present there are 2 affiliated clubs: TKU Laughton near Rotherham, South Yorkshire (for brown and black belts only), and the Stand 2 Karate Club in Worksop, North Nottinghamshire.

April 2024: The Stand 2 Karate club opens on the Wednesday, 24th April and will hold their training nights at the Worksop ACD Centre, Park Street, Worksop. The training sessions will be held every Wednesday 1830-2030pm, for 12 years and above.

The presentation evening on Wednesday, 17th April at the Worksop ACD Centre was well attended. The presentation itself was conducted professionally by Kyle Beeston. TKU coaches were in attendance and each one of them gave a personal profile about themselves. Afterwards, all interested parties asked questions relating to the presentation and the club opening times. A big thank you goes out to Kaylei Brown and her team who provided refreshments during the evening.
